Staff helpful, friendly, and easygoing. Upgraded room and assisted with relocation. Helpful with restaurants and activities. Convenient location near subway, bars, and shops.
Nothing, all great.

Affordable and cozy with excellent breakfast We stayed here for our romantic escape and we're pleased with what we got for the price. the breakfast was a highlight, offering a mix of Western and local cuisine. the location was also great, surrounded by small shops and restaurants that gave a local feel. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the bus station and being able to easily navigate the area.
Room size and worn out furniture the room was a bit on the small side, but for a short stay, it was okay. the furniture was in need of some updates and repairs.

Very small hotel and a bit hard to find from main street but very personal, friendly and nice. Expect quite spacey rooms with great beds, extremely quiet at night and small and innovative bathrooms. Dont expect a full breakfast (goto Cafe Alba nearby instead). Staff guys we met speak decent english and are very helpful.

The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and easygoing. He spoke great English, which made communication easy. The location of the hotel was fantastic, situated in an old and increasingly popular area of Beijing. The hotel itself had a charming courtyard, which was a pleasant place to relax. the hotel offered excellent value for money.
The hotel reception had a makeshift appearance and didn't give off a professional vibe. The hotel was hidden down an alley, making it difficult to find initially.

Nice place in a good location. It was not easy to find it but the taxi driver (without our request) called the hotel and Sam came to the main street to meet us which was nice from both of them (the driver and Sam). Both Sam and Jerry were very helpful to us. Sam booked a restaurant for us and gave us advices on were to go in this huge, huge city. They also booked us a taxi to the airport with a fixed price of 100Y. The room was very nice.
Though the room was nice, the sheets were not really clean. We spent there three nights having same sheets and towels which would have been just fine if the sheets were clean. Poor breakfast. Jordi and Carme from Barcelona.

We stay at the Beijing Courtyard Hotel for a 6 nights. The staff Sam and Jerry was very kind and it is a hotel very good situated. Only a few minutes walking at the Lama Temple and very nice situation. If I go to Beijing next time really we go to this hotel.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, close to restaurants, shops, and a bus station. the staff is incredibly helpful and speaks good English. They are always available to assist with anything we need, including informing us about the city. the rooms are comfortable, and some of them are even bigger than others. the hotel also offers a great quality/price rate. In the morning, they serve a delicious western breakfast.
One negative aspect is that it is not so close to the subway station, which may be inconvenient especially when it's very cold.

Its right in the city centre. Shopping and tourist sights can be walked to. There are things which I just would not have done from a distant 5 star hotel! Jerry will give you a map where the road names are in English !!! If you want a good massage, ask him about the Bline Man Massage within 5 minutes walk (80 Yuan (10 Euros). Best value for money. He will tell you where to go for regular shopping and not just the high end kind I can do in Europe anyway.
